So you are getting married..? Congratulations.
Planning a wedding is one of the most important events of a girl’s life. But you want it to be as stress free as possible.
With a good plan in place, reducing the amount of stress to plan your wedding is an easy thing to achieve.
Decide early on what your wedding day is about and who it is for.
Don’t try to please everyone because it’s just not possible. Go with your heart. At the end of the day, this is yours, (and your husband to be), most special day and you will want to remember it in years to come as a happy event that you planned.
Regretting certain aspects of your wedding plans is not what you want.
Firstly, timing to your wedding plan is best done as early as possible. This will avoid not being able to book certain photographers, car hire etc.
Good wedding suppliers can be like gold dust so book early to avoid disappointment or ending up with a ‘that’ll do’ supplier.
I started planning my wedding 2 years in advance and I really feel as though this helped reduce the stress and worry. On the day of my wedding, I was so calm because I had everything in place to the very last balloon!
This will obviously depend on the wedding location and how quickly you wish to get married.
Recruit some close friends and family to help out and try to give those people a special job but don’t forget, again, it’s your day so they will be led by you by what they are doing. Give them a clear outlook of their job and stick to it as some people can get carried away when asked to carry out a job that at the end of the day, will not affect them for the rest of their married life..!
