Luscious Lipsticks…
I was recently asked if I would like to have a product sent to me by a new company…A new lipstick!!
Being a lover of lipstick, I was more than happy to try this new product out and have been very pleased with it.
I chose the ‘Love story’ shade as I do like a bit of red lippy!
The lovely white casing that it came in is great as it’s different from most of the lipstick products out there and they also sent it in a cute little bag with paper confetti hearts! (It’s those little touches sometimes that make a big difference).
The colour is gorgeous and it lasted really well too after having lunch and a coffee!

Love, Honour and Be True started just over a year and a half ago by sisters Helen and Kitty, who are from Stockport, Cheshire. After lots of research we found a really good packaging company to make quality lipsticks containers and after even more research we found a filling company which is based in the North West of England; which we are really proud of as EU regulations mean that the products and ingredients cannot be tested on animals.
Our lipsticks are designed for the Bride – we worked with our chemists to produce a lipstick which is matte, long lasting, non bleeding and moisturising (you wouldn’t want a dry lip on your big day would you?).
Our lipstick colours have also been specially chosen – all subtle shades which are designed to enhance the brides natural look and suit all skin tones – even our red shade ‘Love Story’ has hints of pink to not only suit every-one but to make the shade not too overpowering.
Our shades are also named in keeping with the wedding theme – ‘I Do’, ‘Just married’, ‘Kiss the Bride’ ‘Blushing Bride’ and ‘Love Story’.
Our name ‘Love, Honour and Be true’ came from the wedding vows – love, honour and obey – but we prefer and be true – to represent being true to yourself. Our packaging also has an engagement ring to stay in keeping with weddings as our main aim is to make every brides day as special as possible, as well as being a tangible reminder days after too!
