Cinderella had shoes that fit her perfectly…
This is what you need to aim for when looking and finally purchasing your wedding shoes.
If you have purchased your dress, then choosing your shoes should be simple but remember to wait to get your dress altered in length until you have decided on the shoes.
Think about the fact that you will be wearing these for the best part of 10-12 hours so you need to make sure they are not higher than you are used to.
The right sort of heel that you are comfortable to walk in and the right style and fit for your feet.
Most brides spend most of their day and evening on their feet so comfort is a major part of the decision process.
Don’t be tempted to go for something very different if they are just not comfortable to wear.
Some brides opt to change into some more comfortable shoes for the evening but I think if you are spending out on wedding shoes then why not make the most of them. You will probably not wear them again for a long time. I know I haven’t worn mine!
There are numerous styles and types of shoes available now and can be matched to your dress with perfection.
They don’t have to be too costly either but its still worth shopping around.
If you are going with a colour other than white or cream, make sure it fits in with the whole colour scheme and also with the bridesmaid’s shoes.
Colour clashing should be avoided at all costs.
Finally, when you have your shoes and when your future husband is not around, wear them around the house.
This will again ensure that your feet are used to them and you will be totally confident to walk down the aisle on your magical Cinderella day!
