Believe it not we were not really aware of the concept of wedding post boxes until our Daughter got married in 2012 and she asked me to make her one.
She explained the reason why people used them and also told us how a friend of hers had her post box stolen at the wedding reception! So I set about designing and building a post box which was not only attractive but too large and distinctive to be carried out without attracting attention and also had a lock on the door.
Well I was extremely gratified that she and her Fiance loved the box, but I was very surprised at all the attention and praise it got…And I’ve been making things most of my life.
Such was the interest even long after the wedding that we decided to offer them to other couples on their big day.
Our post boxes are all lockable for security, come in a range of colours and are available to buy or hire.
