With online shopping continuing to grow at the rate of almost 10% year on year, according to the latest government statistics, brides-to-be will want to check out the new and very stylish one stop wedding shop, www.muchadoaboutweddings.com.
This carefully chosen collection has been put together by founder, Carolyn Holt, and new products are added each week. Carolyn loves the world of vintage style, the quirky and eclectic, and says the world of weddings is the perfect place for her to indulge those passions.
“I have tried to bring together all the elements of a wedding; what the bride and groom will wear, the organisation and styling of the day right through to the gifts they will put on their own gift list and buy for special guests. If a bride-to-be visits my site when she has just become engaged, she can add her favourite things to wishlists to come back to when she is ready to buy”, said Carolyn
The site is stylish, yet simple to find your way around, with clear categories for different products, all grouped together under the Shakespeare inspired headings, Much Ado About…
The store aims to bring together suppliers who offer something a little different, who care about the products they design and make, and take pride in quality and presentation. They also need to care about their customers and give great customer service. Carolyn commented “I am always on the lookout for small designers, and recently came across a fabulously talented corsetiere and bridal gown designer who has opened up in my town.”
Some of the products include: Gorgeous mini heart wall hangers made from recycled glass are great for wedding favours. Continuing with the environmentally friendly theme, cute little tins of wildflower seedballs designed to attract bees or butterflys.
As so many couples live together before they get married, vouchers are a common choice for wedding presents, but something personal means so much more. A favourite product is the graphical word art picture, called “Wedded Bliss?” in reclaimed wood. The words are really beautiful and it will look great in any style of home, whether ultra contemporary or more traditional.
If the bride has lace on her dress, veil or garter then it can be used to decorate this beautiful handmade jewellery. How else could you wear your wedding dress every day? Choose from necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, and the bracelet charms make a fantastic present for bridesmaids.
Whilst lace never goes out of fashion, there is a real trend right now for bright colours, and even coloured wedding dresses. If you just want to add a dash of colour rather than go wild then slingback shoes in hot pink suede are fantastic.
