Although getting married has the potential to kit you out for your first house with the vast array of gifts that people are prepared to buy for the new couple, there is also a fantastic idea to give back to a favourite charity or one that may be close to your heart.
Cancer charities welcome donations and what better way to give a large amount to the charity of your choice by using your wedding day where people do not mind giving that little bit extra.
This can be done via a link to the charity page or you could ask them to donate to a specially decorated box on the day!
Once you have had all the donations in, why not send an email, post from your Facebook page or announce on your wedding website (if you have created one) to let people know how much was raised.
